Ryan's 25th Birthday

Ryan has always said he never had his own birthday party growing up so every year I try to make his birthday special.  I make a really cool cake and we have friends come over.  Since this year was his 25th birthday, I made the party really big. We wanted to do a BBQ since it was supposed to be warm, but that morning it snowed!  Luckily it melted and the sun was shining by the time everyone came.  We ended up having 40 people over to celebrate with us and it was tons of fun.  Thanks to all our friends and family for making his day great!

2 Months Old

It's amazing how much a baby grows in just a few weeks.  Carter is getting really good at staring at people and he's gaining weight like crazy.  He just about doubled his birth weight at his 2 month appointment going from 5 lb. 15 oz. at birth to 9 lb. 14 oz.  He's in the 25th percentile for his height, weight, and head.  Lucky boy is proportional all around. 
He got his first round of shots this month.  Poor little guy ended up sleeping the entire day. He only woke up to eat.

Carter is getting to be so much fun.  He's started smiling like crazy.  It took a while to actually get one on film but not for a lack of trying.

2 Month Photos

1 Month Old

Carter's first month was very eventful.  He got to move to a new house, got his own room, and started sleeping in a new crib.  It's been an adventure having a new baby, but we're figuring it all out. 

 He's so tiny! Love his "bird" legs.

 He loves his swing. It's been such a life saver.

Baby Carter

 Carter is such a blessing in our lives.  He's so much fun to have around and makes us smile everyday.  Here are a few photos from his first week of life.
