Carter's first Christmas

Christmas was so fun. Carter loved looking at the lights on the tree. Thankfully we had a gate on the stairs so our presents remained in tact until Christmas day. We spent Christmas eve at Dave's house where we opened our Christmas jammies(mainly so Carter could fall asleep in them on the way home). He had so much fun opening all his presents. This kid had more fun with the paper than the gifts, as expected. It was awesome being able to wake up in our own house Christmas morning. Since Ryan and I got married we've never been in our own home for the holidays. It was nice to spend the morning with just our little family.

He love his monkey so much we got him a second one for Christmas

Since new noises scare Carter, we let him play with

 

his truck a few days before.

Best idea ever

Last year Pauline (under the paper bag) gave the boys coal for Christmas

This year Matthew gave Pauline a brown paper bag (we all died laughing when grandma opened it)
